The annual food drive for Care Corps LifeHouse in Fremont is back celebrating its 28^th year! This annual program is a great way for the Fremont and surrounding community to help grow the food pantry inventory.  This fundraiser targets the needs of our local low-income ministry, so they receive their primary food items by the caseloads.   

We have been participating with area churches and the community for years. In previous years, we have been able to provide approximately 40,000 lbs. of food annually. 2024 continues to see an increase in the cost of food and food insecurity. We are excited to be able to help with this need.

This program does alleviate the process of the donor needing to drop off food, and we will not need to warehouse the donated food and find a way to get it delivered to LifeHouse.  Please use the Care Corps Life House Venmo code to donate today! Care Corps LifeHouse has been able to provide food to programs such as Aspire and Pathfinder, as well.

Fiscal year 2023/2024 goals vs actual:

• Goal: 8,500 individuals will be provided food through distribution of food boxes through the food pantry program.
• Actual: 11,672 individuals were provided food through distribution of food boxes through the food pantry program.
• Goal: 150,500 meals will be provided through the food pantry.
• Actual: 245,112 meals were provided through the food pantry.

In our year that ended July 31, 2024, the pantry served 10,678 individuals. In our most recent year ending July 31, 2024, we served 11,672, which was an increase of 9.3%.
