I come from a diverse background of financial work experiences. I have worked in banking, consumer and mortgage lending, a retail seed company, and insurance and wealth management. Growing up and working on our family farm instilled in me the value of hard work, keeping that enduring life passion, and the joy of being able to help others. I enjoy continuing to educate myself on all things financial, which is why you see a lot of letters after my name. I am intrigued by learning and can’t seem to help myself to study up and broaden my knowledge.
My philosophy about money is that it is a resource, or tool, that helps one to accomplish goals and priorities. I love to bring clarity and simplicity to sometimes complex topics, and looking at the big picture of what life is about. By knowing where you want to go financially and personally, it is easier for us to plan how to get there. I get excited about helping clients dream about what they want to accomplish and do in their lifetimes and helping them map out a way to make it happen for them and their families.
I am a small-town country girl from a large Christian family with 7 siblings.
I am married to Kerry, and we have 5 children. 2 Boys and 3 girls, which include twins. We are also blessed with 2 granddaughters now as well!
In my spare time I enjoy running by our small creek with our dogs, working on home improvement projects, and just playing with my granddaughters.
Family vacations typically involve a camping trip to a local lake.
Odd things about me include a Black Belt in Ninjutsu and Karate. I enjoy target shooting skeet but will never have the strength to shoot a live animal as I love all things furry.
I loath wasps! I do have a small flock of chickens and ducks which always make me smile!
